About Edit My Showreel

At Edit My Showreel we understand that in today's industry being an actor or presenter can be costly. We also know that finding cheaper alternatives to industry must-haves can mean getting something of lower quality. That's where we come in. We strongly believe that affordable should not mean unprofessional. Edit My Showreel's aim is to provide a cheap, fast and high-quality showreel editing service. We have a detailed understanding of industry standards as well as extensive experience in video editing. Simply drop us an email and we'll get going straight away.  Read more about our services here.

Our Founders

Edit My Showreel was founded by Ned and Josh. They met as actors in 2015 at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama  and have been friends ever since. Alongside being professional actors, Josh and Ned have worked extensively in the Arts and Entertainment industry. Josh as a producer and Ned as a professional video editor and casting assistant. They have worked with the BBC, Barbican, BFI Future Film Festival short film, Park Theatre, Arcola Theatre and many more industry leaders…needless to say, they have a lot of experience and understand what agents/casting directors/producers are looking for. In 2017 they decided to put their experience and technical skills into practice by starting Edit My Showreel and have been delivering killer showreels to clients (and getting them work!) ever since.

Top showreel tip

It's about quality, not quantity, so be brutal  with the clips you have in your reel.

Best industry advice you've been given

When you’re called into an audition remember they’ve brought YOU in for a reason. Don’t sit there comparing yourself to the other people and wonder 'what am I doing here'? The casting team would've already seen your headshot and showreel and thought you could be a fit for the role. You’ve always got something to offer that another actor doesn’t.

Favourite film

Before Sunrise. A beautiful film about a young couple falling in love over the course of one evening. Amazing script and amazing actors.

Top showreel tip

Start the showreel with your best work. Casting directors and agents are busy people and often don't watch the entire reel, so catch their eye quickly!

Best industry advice you've been given

Be true, be you. It's realness and rawness that wins in the audition room.

This changes daily...but I've just re-watched What's Eating Gilbert Grape and was in awe of the performances.
